The Great Coffee Cocktail Competition: Bartender Entries Open NOW
The Fountain on Delmar, in partnership with Kaldi’s Coffee Roasting Company and Haus Alpenz, is thrilled to announce the first ever Great Coffee Cocktail Competition to be held at The Fountain on Delmar in the Delmar Maker District on October 7th.
St. Louis area bartenders are invited to submit their coffee cocktail creations for consideration no later than September 19, 2024 at 12:00 pm. Recipes must highlight 1-2 of Haus Alpenz spirits and either Kaldi’s 700 Espresso or Cold Brew Concentrate. Click here for full competition rules & to submit.
Mixologists accepted for the competition will be notified no later than 5:00 pm on Wednesday September 25 of their selection and will be expected to purchase, batch and prepare for competition on October 7th at The Fountain on Delmar. Those who participate in the event will be asked to prepare a large batch and to provide samples to attendees in our courtyard, telling their story behind the drink. Guests will choose their favorite drink and bartender through the popular vote. Mixologists will also have 10 minutes to prepare and present their cocktail to judges inside at the main bar for a chance at our 1st, 2nd or 3rd place prize and the title.
All of our Top 8 Mixologists will be featured in a recipe giveaway guide given to all who attend the event, in which their recipe will be highlighted. They will also have the opportunity to win cash prizes and to have a version of their cocktail featured on the fall/winter menu at The Fountain on Delmar.
First Place Prize: $300

Whether you're a seasoned pro or a novice home bartender, you'll get the chance to try your hand at making each cocktail at home as each guest will get a copy of the drink recipes presented to take home.
